Haven't done this yet, about time I did.
I was a newbie on here since around Dec. last year untill this weekend, got a pretty dang good initiation at camp.
I am 41 years old, married, have one step-daughter (thats just a technicality I'm "DAD").
I grew up in Colorado so yes, I am a BRONCOS FAN even if it tics off ol' Bugman:D.
Been here in MO about 6 years, moved here from Las Vegas and I love this state, got fishin' all around me.
I install carpet and other floor covering hence the Rugs-R-Me.
You new guys are going to love this forum and these people I was amazed at what everyone did for Slayer.
See ya' all around

Missin' "The Lake"
Stumbled upon this board while looking for some vacation ideas for my wife of 13 years and I. I now live in Phoenix, but spent two summers (June 1st to October 1st 1986 & 87) just insde the Gravios arm across from "Millers Shady Rest". Lived near the end of "O" Road. We stayed holed up on the crazy weekends, and owned the lake during the week when all the crazies (no offense intended) went back to K.C.. Scarabs just didn't make good fishin' buddies. I don't get a lot of fishing in here, since it's a good hour to get to a decent lake.

Hello, I just found out about this site when I stopped by Everhart's Sporting Goods in Clinton M.O and was talking to one of my friends that works there, he is a tall skinny fella which I would say a lot of you know.
I was born and live in Windsor M.O and most people call me Big B, I'm married with three kids and recently became a Grandfather.
I work in Clinton M.O at Schreiber Foods in Maintenance.
I grew up fishing for catfish with my father and the rest of my family, I caught my first crappie when I was around thirteen and been hooked ever since. I fish Truman Lake mostly but I spend a lot of time below Truman Dam in the winter. My boat is a 20 foot Lowe Roughneck it's all white including the Johnson motor, so if you see me on the lake stop by and say Hi.
I love crappie fishing but whitetails are my passion, there is nothing like spending a day in a treestand during the rut.
I have a 3lb 10oz crappie on my wall but I am not the one that caught it, my sister caught it out of a local farm pond a couple of years before she passed away and she left it to me. I owe all I know about fishing and life to my father annd sister and I miss them greatly.
Well that's about it, hope to see ya all on the lake.

BigB glad you found the site. Jared Fosnow here. Jeff at Everhardt's just joined this site last week also. I think his handle is stumpthumper80. Brian I can still remember seeing your sisters monster crappie sticking out of the top of that 5 gallon bucket now. I can not remember how many years back that was. But I will never forget that fish. It was huge. Glad to have you on here Brian. You will love it.

Hey Jared and olesilverside, Jeff was telling me there are a bunch of good guys on here, he said something about meeting some of the guys down at Bucksaw last week and telling some fish stories. Went fishing last night and caught some nice fish, my boy caught one about 16 inches, he likes showing his father how to fish :)
