Thread: First one ever

And hopefully the last. After getting skunked on the carp again in three hours stowed the carp gear and grabbed rod with my trusty floating worm for some bass fishing. In just a few casts I get a hit and set the hook. Strong hard fighting fish but felt weird. It was an Oscar, close to 12" and easily over a pound. Someone released it into a city park lake. Heard they were good to eat and gave it to another person fishing there. I'll ask how it was the next time I see him. Also caught three bass over 12 ", picture of the biggest one.
