Had 14 on Monday on buddies boat.

Jeff came up from warrenton area bringing his ranger and we went to a couple of bridges that produced well for us last time. Not so fast dude as with 3 boats and guys on the shore there wasn't much ketchn, we probably caught 4 going on so decided to take a boat ride as he is still breaking in a new Yamaha 200 motor. went to another bridge but same thing, picked up a few more.

Decided to go to other end of lake just because, even tho this is more a winter spot. surprisingly we saw a guy in a boat fishing one side of a big brush pile MDC marks so we went to other side and anchored. I was able to fish a couple of places I have caught before and ended up with 6 really good ones, jeff picked up a couple of dinks.

He had to drive back home so we cut it short and in the end he had 6 and I 8 for a nice mess and he didn't have to worry about cleaning his when he arrived home. Great day for sure.

I planned on staying thru wednesday and fishing but had another awful night sleeping and hence had real breathing issues tuesday. didn't even drive short distance to sit on bank. will be heading to see doc to figure out next step so I drove home. hate it when something like this happens and cuts off my fishing!
