Thread: One more time

Had great deer season with my son and his crew. Never made it out deer hunting for first time since I was in college. Spent my time hosting and fishing plus talking with a lot of folks which I do quite a bit.

Last morning so made two stops where I knew couple of my mentors were on their spots they are on most days. One guy only had a few but other was ketchn a lot.

Wentvto my spot and you could tell it was deer season as it was a warm day and bunch of guys were all around where I like to fish. No problem tho as couple of them had caught a few but I still started ketchn from first cast. KABOOM HAPPENED yet again. Caught some real solid crappie 9.5 to 12 inches. Had an audience for a while as they mostly watched me ketch my dozen or so before I had to go. Of course they moved onto my spot as I left so I watched and had to chuckle as they wernt ketchn many there.

Had great weather and spent time with my boys and lot of good folks. Life is GOOD! Plus caught load of fish.
