Thread: Dead water kind of day.

Rolled into Warsaw about daylight to fish the dead water channel below the dam and after going to three bait shops I found there were no minnows to be had in town!!!! Ended up driving back up to Lincoln to get bait.
So I started fishing about 8am at the mouth of the dead water channel and it was non stop action, they were slamming the spider rigging rods with the fishfinder showing fish stacked up.
The gar were rolling everywhere and luckily I never hooked one but seen several people that did.
Going back Saturday for round two.

Oh I even seen Monty. (OSS) getting in on the action.
