redfin00, Are you referring to where the hose connects to the thru fitting at the Transom? If so, I might be able to, but it means removing that corner brace again, and then cutting even more of the brace away than I already have to get it to sit properly.

refin00, on those wires you are referring to to support the insulation, Menard's had the 16" and the 24" wires you are referring to called Insulation Supports that are supposed to be simply pushed into place with 100 pcs in a box. I had planned on cutting them shorter where necessary. But thank you for the heads up... Eric.

We had my wives daughter and grand daughter come in and spend some time this week, so I was worried about them getting hurt so I wound up just covering the hole with plywood while they were here. Now that they are gone back home , I can get back to work on it and get it finished up. On an other note, Thank you for the kind words on Rosie. She will be missed, and will always be in my heart. The vet hospital had her cremated and called today for us to pick up her ashes today. So she is her with her sister Tinker now. I call Route 66 Rescue today to see what was the delay on the home visit so the adoption of the other two could go thru. They are coming Monday and bringing the younger one and an other choice the wife had picked out as the second one we wanted unfortunately for us was already adopted. I hope the family she went to gives her a great home. So we will be getting Sugar Baby, a approx. 10 month old puppy and Crème Brule, an approx. 4 year old that my wife fell in love with. Both are Chihuahua's. Momma plans on taking Crème Brule on the truck with her so there may be third one coming soon to give the pup a play mate why they are on the road, which is ok with me. This week has been real hard as I miss that little one greeting me at the door when I come in and what I call her yoga walk in the morning when I pick up her leach to put on her for her morning walk...well enough for now. Eric

That is a through bulkhead fitting that came in the bilge kit from wally world. I hadn't thought of that. Thank you. I will be out running around paying some bills tomorrow first thing in the morning, then have to run back home asap as the Pet Rescue lady will be coming here for the home visit and bringing the pups with her. Don't think I'll have a problem so am looking so forward to them being here. We were unable to get Mimi the older of the two as she was adopted since I had talked with the rescue shelter, even though we had expressed a strong desire for her, but we are getting a long haired chihuahua that we wanted too. Momma is already talking of taking her on the truck. Sure been lonely here without any fur babies for company. Will get pic's of the new babies as soon as I can tomorrow, maybe in the evening though.
I will see about getting a fitting of some kind to get that hose flat against the transom. Thanks again. Eric, AKA "Jamesdean".

Yes Sir, Everything is fine. Pups are doing well. We found out Leilei has some knee problems but they are fixable. I was going through her papers from the Rescue and seen she had two x-rays done at the vet hospital in Ozark. I went to my vet here to have her checked and they want to see those X-rays to see what they show. The orthopedic vet says she has knee joints that slip out of joint but is fixable. The Ozark vet hospital was supposed to send up the pic's via email to my vet Friday. Haven't heard, so tomorrow I plan on calling to see what's going on.
On top of all that this is momma's week-end home, so it's a bit hectic around here. She loves the babies, and they have accepted her. Sugar Baby is a mess. She's now 5mo. and a week old, and as most babies are she's just into everything. Both have been underfoot as expected with momma and me doing the cooking for her road food. We cook here and freeze a couple weeks worth of meals for her to take on the road with her. Saves a lot of money, and she knows what is in it.
Leilei has gained 2/10ths of a pound since she was weighed by the vet in Ozark the Friday before we got the pups. Both are eating well. Trying to get them pad trained is taking some time. But we are making headway.
As far as the boat goes, I haven't worked on it since we lost Rosie. Just couldn't pull myself together, then the pups came, and momma home this week. Looks like I can get a battery or two this month and I need to put a 90 deg. elbow where the bilge hose connects to the thru transom fitting. Also need to install some foam yet and secure the seats. Then hopefully next month I'll finish the paper work with the state and then we see how she floats. Thinking of going up to Stockton and put in off Rt 123, and maybe do a bit of fishing working North from there for a bit, when I get to that point. I have a neighbor who likes to Crappie fish to help with loading and unloading. He would join the site but has no computer and only a flip phone. I am thinking of giving him my old tablet, but then he needs to get hooked up on line. He is a retired trucker, and a really nice guy. hopefully we can get him hooked up. Well Gumbo needs dishing up so I'll close for now.
Thank you redfin00 for checking in. I promise I'll get back on the boat soon. Eric, AKA "Jamesdean".

I could only wish on the getting into to many...To be truthfull I haven't wet a line in over a month now. And yes we do enjoy the time we are home together. Tomorrow, she does her Absentee Voting as she will be on the road come election time, then we are going to Petsmart, and then back here to fix two or three more dishes for her. The plus side is unless I want something special, AllI have to do is mabe fix some rice, and a vegatable and reheat the main dish.I was a cook for over 16 yrs in the service, and still enjoy being in the kitchen. Its just an adjustment from 1500 meals down to two, hahaha.
She, momma goes back out Tuesday, and wont be home again till around the end of the month due to having a dr.'s Appt. That way she's not losing miles by having to be home two weeks back to back. I miss the days before the Fed.s got involved with black boxes. When you could make money and not have to have taddletales in your truck...Sure don't want a driver to make money any more for sure. Oh well...Thanks for the kind words, and I'll get some posts up of the fur babies and the boat soon. Eric, AKA "Jamesdean".

I finally got a couple sheets of 2" foam to use for floatation foam. 4'x8'x2" thick. About 11 3/4" between the seat uprights so I'll have 8 ea. 1'x4' pieces to devide between the three seats. From what I can find on the internet the boat it self weighs about 280 lbs and the motor weighs less than 90lbs so maybe 1 omore sheet should do it. Still playing with this floor in the kitchen. Seems everytime I just about thik I'm ready to put the floor covering down momma comes up with something else she wants done. New counters and that part of the floor replaced and new insulation on that part...hoping to take a break from the floor for a bit and get some outside time in before it gets to dang cold. Really need to get a raised support for the tarp as I am tired of bailing water off the tarp as it is pulled inside the boat everytime it rains. Thankfully it's water tight, and no water has gotten in the boat yet...Just so much time in the day. Well hopefully I will get something done tomorrow...Eric, AKA "Jamesdean".
