Thread: Lure retriever

Hound Dog on an old bait casting reel works great for bass lures. Spark plug for crappie jigs or the bell sinker as Speck said. Might be able to tie a thin string to the sinker so you don't lose it. Junk yard might give you some old spark plugs.

bummer, last time fishing my son left my home made lure retriever on boat ramp while cleaning boat.had saved hundreds of lures with it ,pulled up 3 cast nets loaded with lures and jigs ,2 anchors with ropes with lures in ropes, a bungie jump system and miles of fishing line .can't fish a spillway without one or you will lose lots of lures. made new one but haven't tried it yet .twenty dollar reward for return of lost retriever.
