    Default Breaking the cardinal rule.

I put alot of brush in the back cove by my house and it is paying off. Caught some nice fish off of them just fishing from the bank. Fished Saturday so I could get the boat out and blow the cobb webs out it. Fish are starting to move shallow. Water temperature in the coves was 56 degrees. Big crappie was 1.28 lbs.
Let the bigger fish go and kept six for dinner. Of the six that I kept only one had eggs in it. So next weekend I am breaking the cardinal rule of never leaving fish to find fish. Heading to Stockton Lake on Saturday and Day Dreamer gave us the report that we didn't want to hear. Not even a bite. Well that isName: IMG_20180422_140559194.jpg

I have been catching walleye while I wait for the crappie to move up. Casting jigs and jerkbaits off points. Usually tipping the jig/roadrunners with a piece of worm. Send me a pm if you want to try and go one evening
