I fished out of Bucksaw on Saturday. Fished down most of the day dipping trees with jigs and got bit right off and then little all day. Salvaged the day in the last 45 minutes upstream on a 30 yard stretch of bluff, 8-10 feet down in 30+ feet of water. I am new to the fall fishing and am feeling my way along. Have fished every weekend for the last 6 weeks and found the bite to be the lightest I have ever seen. This week was bluffs, last week around the marina and dipping trees. Best success on trees has been 12 feet deep right on the bottom. For me it has been scratch, claw and work at it but haven't starved to death yet. Keep after it.
