NO WD-40 Needed.....
I haven't been crappie fishing when the sun is out since April but a text message from Crappiejoe12 and falling water temperatures urged my sense to dust off my ten foot jigging poles. I have not made the rounds with Crappiejoe12 in a while but neither he nor I were rusty as we pulled two quick limits from two docks. Typical November bite....slip corking minnows 6 to 10 feet down on deep bluff docks in the LOZ Gravios. As usual even if we didn't catch a fish shooting the breeze with Crappiejoe12 is worth the 40 minute drive. No big fish today just a live well full of base hits.
On a side note I did bass fish yesterday in Bouge Bay and Gravios Mill. I caught a bunch of fish and had maybe 12 pounds on my best five. I did miss three huge blowups which would have given me a heavy sack. The bass were kinda scattered but strikes were frequent on a spinnerbait, buzzbait, and Whopper Plopper. I had my full winter garb on yesterday and then wearing a t-shirt today. LSL you predicted I would be crappie fishing again when the water got cooler.....
