    Default Wapp Lake Level

Drove over to Wapp today. The guy at the visitors center told us the lake was going to get within a foot of going over the spillway again.

New forcast show it going to at least 395' which will put it over emergency spillway....I believe in 2011 it reached 400' after they sand bagged. Lets hope they're not stupid enough to do that again !

I know years back it was the best crappie fishing that I ever had on that lake when the the back of the coves were in 15 feet of water. Lots of trees to fish in.

I caught my biggest Wappapello crappie when the lake was 14 feet high. Single polling trees around state park. But I think this flood will put all of the ramps under water
