    Default Small Lakes

I want to try a few small lakes this spring. I picked a few out and want your thoughts on which is the best bet for a quite day of fishing. I have never been to any of these lakes.

    Happy Holler Lake

    CHE-RU LAKE

    BLIND PONY LAKE

    HAZEL HILL LAKE

I've been to Happy Holler and did fair in the trees on the side opposite the ramp and toward the dam. Also the brushpiles off the dam itself. I'm planning to try Che- Ru lake this year myself. I've driven around it and bass fished from the bank, for a little bit, but nothing.

    Thanks for replying.

I'm thinking the small lakes will warm up earlier than big lakes.
Check-Ru I believe is fairly shallow so mid March may be a good time to check it out.

That is exactly what I was thinking. There is another small lake by Che-Ru as well-Called Fountain Grove Lake, that gets more pressure due to a lot of jetties and picnic/camping areas. I think it is getting silted in though.
