Went to the Independence seminar today at the 11:00 session- Roscoe Van (something). I believe he was a BPS employee and went over he basics of spider rigging. I learned a couple things and a couple things were brought up that were food for thought, but there were several newbies that asked things like "what's a palomar knot" . I've spoken in front of crowds before, so I'm a pretty tough judge and the guy did a decent job for the folks- pretty full room. One thing he should keep in mind- don't use the term "spider rig rod" when talking about the rod holder frame components (Driftmaster), and the transducer sonar "angle" isn't interchangeable with the term "frequency", although they inter-relate to each other.
