Catch and Release Day

[LSL Angler]

Fished LSL from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. It was a catch and release day so of course i caught 7 crappie over 11 inches. Lake St Louis is a shallow lake with the deepest section at about 24 feet, most of it is only 10 feet or less so the lake cools down faster and the water temperature is at 62 degrees today. Most of the big fish were caught in 3.5 - 4 feet of water. Still looking for another 2 poumder this fall. Going to give it a break the next couple of weeks. Headed to Little Rock next weekend and then going to load up the boat and head to LOZ to see where Manny and Richard are catching all those slabs.
