It's been a while between being a lineman apprentice in Kansas and having three kids, I don't get to fish near as much as I'd like to. Got out today though and got a mess at Lake of the Ozarks. The fish were in about 10 to 15ft of water right under the dock. You had to be on your game though and watch your line because they where hitting it on the drop. Used a 1/16 with white and chart tipped with a minnow. Saw a big hook on the graph and talked Dad into putting a rubber leach on a hook and sure enough he landed a toad. Just a shade under 10lbs. Pretty good fishing on crappie gear and Trilene 4lb test. Had the drag set just right. Didn't think I would get him in the net but we made it happen. Thanks for reading and good fishing.
