The web site says they were hit with 70mph winds and 4 foot waves. Broke some cables and moved some 2400 pound anchors. 11boats sustained some damage but they are closed until repairs are completed to make the docks safe for patrons.

I just had a friend call and tell me it is no longer there due to a wind storm... Is that correct?

God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.
Quite a bit of dock five is flattened. I saw pics on Facebook. Heard a radio interview, the owner said 300,000 dollars in damage. But the rest of the marina is functioning. I thought he said they were open, I could be wrong tho.

Are you all talking about when it got hit in 2014 ?
Wow, just looked at the pictures on Facebook. This happened Tuesday night.
That storm Tuesday night was a doosy... I was on the Missouri River about 2 miles upstream from Dalton Bottoms seems it was after midnigt, it got ugly quick, we pulled the canoe up the bank and hid under a fishing shack.

I launched there that afternoon. Went up the grand to fish. Storm popped up right on top of marina. Lightning was awful. I just hung tight and it passed. Saw the damage when I took the boat out. Pretty scary stuff! What was crazy was there wasn't any limbs or trees down by the ramp. Just picked on the back row at marina.
That had to be scary cricket. Was there any hail with the storm?
Not that I know of.
