    Default Stockton???

Any Stockton reports? I have my Champion here at home for a bit of work and a tidy up, taking it back down to storage at Stockton and want to give it some exercise.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Mike getting a few reports, scattered, slow bite, pulling water pretty hard, should pick up after the rains, I loaded my trolling rods in just in case the bed bite is still slow, luck to ya.

We fished for a few hours Sunday and caught a few on the trees back up Turkey Creek in 15-20 fow using minnows 6-8 below a bobber. I tried jigs and hit a couple brush piles without any luck but I know you can catch them on brush piles you just have to find the right one (if you know send me a pm). I suspect trolling might be a good way to go. GOOD LUCK!!!

Well, backed the Champion off the trailer, alarm goes off, oil. Put it back on the trailer, took it to Son Sac Marine, Bill says he's covered up but will try to get a look at it this afternoon or tomorrow morning if I'll leave it. So I did. He called me at 4 PM, says the oil injection system monitor module is NFG, 200 Merc. He disabled it, oil injection working fine, go ahead and use the boat.
Module on order - $468.00 installed. I just wanted to go fishing.
Got the boat, put it in. Dipped trees with jig & plastic, no deal. Minners might have helped. Too late in the day to mess with looking for brush piles.
Next morning got up early and on the water. We fished piles about 1 1/2 hours, not much luck. I finally tossed a jig with a rootbeer Yamamoto Hulagrub a few times, caught a nice 3 1/2 lb. smallmouth.
Phone rang, Jane said there is a bad thunderstorm just to the west coming fast. Ran back, trailered & made it to camp in time to cover the boat and get in the camper. Boat ran great. Pretty good storm.
Gotta run back down next week and get the module installed. 22 year old boat & motor, still looks/runs like new when it's right. Starting to have some issues.
I'll get some minners and try the brushpiles again.
