    Default Alone at Night

Rode solo last night to the LOZ. Trolled right before dark and got two, then set up in Soap Creek...30 fow...over brush and limited around 2215 hours. Fished awhile longer and caught quit a few more and burned out. Fish were 15 to 20 feet down water 82 degrees.

Any skeeters out there bothering you. Sounds like the fish kept you busy out there. Congrats.

Man, we used to do the night thing at Truman and had some great trips and lots of fun. Often had as many as 4-5 boats tied up with lights. Many crappie and white bass met the grease from those trips.. lots of good stories and BS and laughs. Of course, no adult beverages because, well, that would be wrong...
Just can't handle the all night, cleaning fish at dawn, sleeping in the truck stuff any more.. what did ol' Hank JR. say? "all my rowdy friends have settled down!"

Depends on how the fish bite, and I live 45 min from Coffman, on how late I stay out. I have a schedule that allows me to night fish but I usually get to bed at a decent time and don't sleep in to late. I put my fish on ice and clean them the next day. Last time if I wanted coulda been in bed by 11:30 but when they are hitting it's hard not to stay a little while longer
