Nice way to keep after them.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Nice job, I fish the mid-lake area. I'm bringing my 10 year old daughter and her friend down this weekend. I plan on pulling some cranks on Saturday. Would you mind sharing some details regarding the catch i.e. water depth, length of line out, speed, etc. I normally pull bandit 300s anywhere from 70 to 110 feet back around 1.5mph in water 17 feet or deeper. I have had good success with "Orange Crush" in the bandit 300 line if you haven't tried it.

We caught most of our fish in the middle of the cove. No where near a dock on bandit 300 with 95 feet of line out at 1.7 mph.

Thanks for the additional info. If I get the girls out I'll post a report - thanks again.
