    I'd say my average is around 11 "keepers" per trip (i won't keep them unless they are around 11)

    I have averaged 9.33 keepers this year. I only keep fish 10 inches and over. I would estimate I release 6-10 legal fish per trip but I don't measure them so that's a guess.

    Took a look at my 2014 calendar 20 trips for crappie 231 keepers ave. 11.5 per trip do not know about shorts. Hope this helps.

    All fishing from a boat, Truman around 7 each trip, Pomme 2 trips so far this yearby myself limit each time once with my two boys and we only caught 8 keepers that day.

    This year 4 trips average 8 keeper crappie over 10".
