Thank you guys for the warm welcome, PM's and great info. I will be sure to post pictures and reports soon : ) <lol> I made some purchases this week. New crappie rods, terminal tackle and three video's to watch. One B&M vid and the others are by In-Fisherman. Seems like jigs under floats are the thing to try this time of the year as one mentioned earlier and from the video I watched. Will also tip them with crappie nibbles or minnows as well to see how that does.
I have side and down imaging. On cats I use it mostly to find shad, structure and then fish. What are you guys watching for on your electronics? I can spot cats, but will learn how to spot crappie. Seems from what I have read and watched that they will probably be suspended over deep water from 10 to 25ft down this time of the year.
Also, do many of you guys practice CPR? I don't mind letting the big guys go at all. My biggest crappie so far has been 16 inches
