Thanks for all the kind words guys....... it's definitely going to be something new but we're very excited.
Catman - Now I'm jealous! Retired! I knew it was coming but didn't realize it was that close, congrats! Please give my Dad shout at anytime..... the bathroom is finished at the cabin and it's ready for friends! We're planning on getting the wood burner put in this month yet as there's nothing else to do with this cold.
Speck - You know there's always a spot for you wherever the Mayfield's may be....... especially for a guy who has yet to catch a walleye!
Barry - Thanks and you're right..... the area we're looking in, there's probably 5-6 lakes within a 20 minute drive and a couple major lakes within an hour.
LSL, Vic, Mike - Suppose you can call me a cheesehead (love me some curds) but LSL is right, it'll be about a 4.5 hour drive back so I'll never be too far from Twain....already have plans to get back for a week in May for our annual fishin week at the cabin.
Ripn - If Mike has any advice, I'm all ears!
Poler - Appreciate the note.......just do me a favor and keep Wyatt down there with you. I've seen what he does to fish!
Joedog - My wife and I will both be working in Milwaukee but are targeting the Mukwonago/New Berlin area as a place to escape and retreat to.....really like the area as it's still small town USA, good people, etc. Where ya from? Not sure about the Packers yet (Steelers fan) but I'm more focused on the fish!
I'll be here in Illinois through February and then back/forth a few times while we get settled, so hopefully I run into a few of you on the water!
Be Good,
U
