Thread: Dead Channel

We were down today. Put in about 11am fished til about 5pm. There are a lot of fish on the graph but if they are crappie I couldn't get bit. Had 2 shorts is all. Talked to some locals the did ok yesterday but had the same luck we did today. We did still catch the white bass on the shallow bank between the 2 docs. Most fish were in 2 to 6 FOW and most were right on the bank. White jig 1/8 oz head. There were not as many as last week but the size was much better. Kept about 25 nice ones.

Way to go Jeff. Got your message this afternoon and wondered of the crappie did anything for you. Wish I could have made it out. Sure looks like some nice whites.

they ain't crappies but put a little andy's on them they still eat good
