This brushpile is not going to feed my family forever...
Found it with the si snooping thru docks.
And if a boat pulls in this slip... There is no way to get to this brushpile...

Found some smaller brushpiles but no takers there.
So now I have a wopping 3 actual brushpiles marked.

Also lost my arse in jigs and hooks trying to shoot docks a let it sink to far.
I'm really thinking I really just got lucky this weekend.

Can't wait till the drop in water temp to force these crappie to get on a pattern that will be more predictable.
Will see what happens next weekend...

Found enough over 10" for a dinner for two on Saturday. Most were verticle jigging brush about 5-7' down. Quite a few 8 & 9 inchers. Caught only two dock shooting, but they were big. Found them under swim docks, about as far back as I can shoot. Overall it was a pretty slow day, but did manage a nice 28" sow.

Wow Bud, congrats on that nice eye. We drive all the way to Canada to catch fish like that.

Did some trolling Sunday morning. We were marking fish all close to the bottom.
Only luck on bites were almost to the end of Cartwright cove.
