I should be in bed for ant early wake up, but I am so wound up about heading down in the morning I can't sleep.
Thought about waking the Misses up to see if she wanted to leave now. Second thought is better leave her be.......

glad everybody's having fun and catching fish---gotta work in the morning, but will see you guys tomorrow afternoon!
I'm a newbie to Missouri and Truman isn't but a 2 hour drive for me. I'd like to learn some new techniques from guys that know more about fishing the missouri natural lakes than I do. I'm used to a mud or clay bottom lake with an average depth of about 15 feet.
I have Friday off and thought about dragging the boat down there, has the cooler weather this week had a big affect on the fish? Is anyone willing to give me a few tips? I will more than likely be going solo, if anyone was wanting to partner up or doesn't have a boat I'd be more than happy to give you a seat to fish out of, you just have to give me some guidance on where to go.
PM me if anyone is interested.
Detmrdj, show up. There's always someone to give you some help. My wife says I need help.
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterdayvic n LIKED above post
Looks like Thursday evening meal has been moved to Golden Corral in Clinton since Bucksaw is not having all you can eat shrimp. 6 pm at GC for the local guys that would like to join us.
Detmerdj....come on down. Four of us caught limits today, so the foul weather and dirty water hasn't hurt us. Course, we're used to fishing Smithville, so...this was like Christmas. Saturday is gonna be even better with the weather pattern here....imo. Shouldn't be worse, that's for sure. If ya don't want to drag the boat, there might be some room with someone else. And there's always someone you can follow so you don't bump a stump. Hopefully.
