Hello fellow Crappie slayers,
I wanted to start a tread on Combs lake neat Kennett, MO. I know there have been tons of boats on the lake over the past week. Lots of guys I have talked with have gotten their limits.

Yea, I just know since my father worked for Conservation. Its a lake east from Kennet, MO about 5 miles on 412.
Yes that is correct, 5 miles East of Kennett. It is listed under Little River Conservation Area on Mo Dept. of Conservation. Here is the link if you want to check it out. If it doesn’t open just copy paste.

I've driven by it hundreds of times going to visit my grandparents, but have never really seen anyone fising it. always wondered what the quality of fish was in there. do u know if they have any size to them? my grandpa lives in senath and loves crappie fishing, might be a place he and i can check out
There are some good sizes there. I have caught some in the 3/4 to pound range, but most have been under that I would say 7" to 8" average length. It's a good lake to troll with spider rig, but I have caught the bigger ones single pole jigging. It would worthwhile to take your grandpa there; if you don't catch anything it would be quality time well spent together, IMO
