    dose antone know how thick the ice is on ponds or Perry

    Smithville certain areas it is 8" to 10" inches but others areas open water so you have to be careful! Assume most ponds would be safe, good luck!

    So, you couldn't see the ice that looked thick?

    Just messing with you, we live a block off a 55 acre lake, I'm temped to tie a rope around me, put on a pfd, and start cutting holes.
