Well I just woke up and it is all white outside so would say it has been snowing. I am still going fishing tomorrow. may have to shovel snow out of the boat to fish.

Yep, if it snows alot you wont have to worry about seening boats on the water. To many fair weather people out there, I remember last winter I went to bennet springs to fish. It snowed the night before about 4" of the white stuff. It was myself and 2 other people in the whole park. Boy was that nice. Good luck this weekend give us a report when you get back in.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night will keep me from crappie fishing!

Well I did OK, only fished Friday morning and caught 9 10"-14" and several under 10". Made for a fun morning on the water. Then the wind and rain moved in and did the family thing.

They have a monthly crappie tournament on Beaver Lake east of Rogers in NW Arkansas. It's held on the 3rd Saturday of each mont and the entry is $25 a boat with a 15 fish limit from 7 a.m. till 3 p.m. Next one is Dec. 18th. They hold each tournament out of Hickory Creek wich is on the upper end of the lake ( Farhter south on the lake actualy ). The marina where it's held out of has a web site : http://www.hickorycreekmarina.com/Fishreport1.htm , you can reach the tournament director at that number or e-mail address. Usualy 7-12 boats fish in it including myself some months ( when I'm not guideing! )

I've caught alot of good bass in that area, but never crappie fished there. I've only fished there with my dad he really likes that part of Bull Shoals for bass fishing. I'll bet there is also some good crappie fishing there to.
