    I went on Saturday and was shootin docks, I could not believe how shallow they were for this tme of year. seemd to me that they wer just under the dock. As soon as I shot in I had one on. Then it was one after another as soon as I figured them out.

    That seems to be the case when you find em shootin,i fish the area you caught em alot during the winter but shoot docks very little because we have dozens of beds in that area and like to take the easy way out and fish with jigpoles in open water,that area is not known for size so when i shoot docks its in areas where the big blacks live,there are good numbers around there and the bite has been crazy good all fall and winter so however you choose to fish its a bunch of fun.

    Up the tributaries and some coves are froze in but the main lake is open as far as i know.

    In the Gravois Sunday from and into Indian creek and up was froze across and 1/2 way back Mill creek was froze also.
