Hello guys, I am married , 49 years old and have 3 kids and 6 grandkids. I have spent life chasing whitetail with a bow in Missouri and crappie with a jig pole in north Mississippi. I live in the bootheel of Missouri but recently bought a lot near Enid and hope some day to retire there. I joined the MCC this year and am planning on fishing most of the tournaments. I look forward to meeting some of you!! I run a silver and white nitro with monster energy drink advertising on it if see me stop and say hi.

Hey guys,mm my names "Takeum" aka Andy. I'm 53 yrs of age,,, I'm semi retired as an auto mechanic, but work at Avery outdoors as a volenteer..sorta help out at the archery range there where I run weekly leagues there and teach the kids how to shoot archery. I actually grew up on cape cod where most my family still live as commercial inshore fisherman, they catch stuff like scallops, clams and a few lobstas from time to time. My family has been there since the mayflower and never moved more then 15 miles so I recon I'm considered the gypsy of my family.. My great grandfathers father fought the likes of captain Kidd and Calico Jack as seafaring men whom sailed a schooner by the name of the " Speedwell". so if you see me fishing for crappies in my Blue and silver Ranger 397xt fish and ski this week, It's because they ran out of fish on cape cod!!!That and my wife won't let me go out any further then lake Sardis,,, lol,,,happy fishing and hope to see ya out there soon!

    Hello All !
I am in the process of moving from Texas to the Jackson, MS area and would like to know if there are people on here that could help me learn Ross Barnett. I would love to be able to afford to hire a guide but that is not an option at this time. I have fished Enid several times some 10 years ago, but have never spent any time at all on Ross Barnett. Is it even worth my time ? All help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Glad to be able to join the forum......good day and good luck to you all.

Hello, my name is RustyJig from Louisville. Don't get to fish a lot but love it when I can. Quit playing golf due to bad joints and took up crappie fishing about three years ago. Already put a stump through the bottom of my first boat ( a 1972 Quachita) and have since upgraded to a pristine 1989 Tracker. Fish the Tombigbee mostly but not very well! Took up jig and fly tying a couple of years back and enjoy that. Hoping to catch a whopper on one of my custom jigs. Enjoy reading about you guys who know how to crappie fish.
