we ended up with 6 or 8 in the boat
from 5 to dark 30. Darn things are biting so soft that you feel one bump and one bump only so you better be ready when they do bite. Lost several at the boat from not being able to get a good hook set on them. Couple of the fish were black males and I do mean jet black. My buddie did good yesterday. He's got lets say a REAL BAD temper and the last 2 trips, he's gotten hung up in the weeds and slammed his rod on my boat shattering it into pieces. I laid the law down yesterday and told him he wasn't going with me again if if broke another rod. He got hung on the rocks atleast 8-10 times and broke off but didn't break one rod, THANK GOD. I was gonna join up the the crappie club with him as a partner but he won't listen to me when I try and help him out. 6 trips and he's caught 5 fish to my no telling how many. He Wants to throw his line out 20-30 feet and let it drag behind the boat under a cork. Not bad if you're staying in a straight line but fishing around curves, rocks and pad stems, NO, you can't do that. Told him to just put them in the holders or better yet, in your hands and I'll put the boat on the fish. He won't listen so I'm gonna have to find me a partner for when I join up that can actually catch a few fish. Anyways, whats up with the light bites? I thought they'd be slamming it
