Thread: The fishin was good

Eleven AM monday, got 13 in the well. Trolling motor batteries give out. I decide to go shallow, tie to a tree, and cast around a bit to try and fill my limit. Run big motor into 3 foot of water... and dead center on a stump. Pivoted perfectly two feet up from the transom. After 8 or 9 circles, clockwise and counter... I decide I'll have to get out and push. Over the side, in the water I go , no waders. Push off fine, back in the boat I remember about the phone in my pocket. Oh well, stuff happens. Catch a few more, almost dry now. Head back to ramp, beach boat, Fetch truck and trailor. Get out of truck to see...... Yep, boat is thirty yards out and picking up speed. Well, it all worked out in the end and nothing was hurt but my pride. Thanks to the fellow who gave me a ride to fetch my boat.

It's funny how a livewell full of fish make everything else....Okay! Sorry for your troubles Wannabe, but congrats on a nice day's fishing.
