I got me another fuel pump (got one about a month ago, tried to put it on, had to adjust the positions of the inlet and outlet and lost some parts) put it on, and broke it! Luckily, I had the other new one that still had the part I needed, thank God.
Got out on the water around 5ish. Fooled around with the motor for a little while and started fishing around 6. We loaded up about 8, so all in all we had a good two hours fishing. Between 7 and 7:30, the fish started biting. We had four poles out, and we finally got to see some multiple crappie hooking! We had three fish on at the same time. One of them had to be thrown back though, or it would've been a cooler story...get it a "cooler" story.
But we ended up with 6 big enough to keep. No monsters, but all good eating fishes.
Oh, one more thing. We caught every fish on the same chartreuse curly tailed jig. They wouldn't bite anything else we tried. That was all they wanted.
Here are the 6 we kept...just like showing 'em!
Don't feel bad about going to OM. My daughter went for 1 year. To much Captain Morgan so needless to say, she ain't there no more LOL I tried to get my Ex to let her do more when she was younger and no be as strict on her but NOOOOOO, she woldn't listen. I did the same thing when I was a teen. Mom and Dad sheltered me, heck I had to be home by 10:30 as a senior in HS. Got to college the FIRST TIME and went nuts. Drank to much, played to mush Basket ball and pool. Did win ALOT of money playing pool cause it of though LOL I had to go to work for a coupole years building Lay-z-boy chairs at night before I got my act together. Guess that apple fell right under the tree. LOL Ya'll doing good bud, proud of ya.
P.S. you did good on a wifey, she is cute. LOL
Yeah, there are a lot of people up here with a little too much Captain in them. I would almost certainly have had the problem if I hadn't been 31 when I started college. I'm guessing my wild days were way behind me by then. Playing pool is an honest living! Probably not what mom and dad had in mind when they sent you to college, but it's nice to have a talent/skill to fall back on if times get hard. AND...who don't love La-Z-Boy???? Who? Nobody that's who!
Thank you sir. It's about time I got it right. I was married twice before, and those were mistakes in the very essence of the word "mistake".Quote:
