Way to go. Don't feel bad either, my wife has put the hurt on me before too, just be glad you've got one who will go with you!
Dang, nice fish. And Jennifer is dang cute too. Looks ticked to death with that fish to boot.
Note to self: Be nicer to Max. :)

Max,
I got to go back this mornin and fished the same area, even with the bad wind , still managed 11 good keepers. threw back probably 25 or 30 dinks. Fish in there any time you have free cause it aint gonna do anything but get better. hope to see you over there again in the future.:D
the only reason i left was my trollin motor konked out and wouldnt steer.
Those are nice fish- and you earned them with the wind. I hope to go Sunday am early, but school has me on a short leash also and its awful hard to get away. Congrats and enjoy!
We went back out there this morning. Put in between 6 and 6:30, and the water was calm as glass. As soon as we got our poles out...BAM...we had two big ole fine crappies. Then we took turns throwing out dinks. Satdoc, I don't think we had as many as you, but we sure were catching them little rascals. Some of them were just tiny. A few were right on 12" and it broke my heart to throw them back. But I can't afford to buy them fishes, so we opted for the better safe than sorry routine. Fished till about 9:30ish. By then the wind was more than we cared for, and we had to open the store anyway. We went back this afternoon and caught a few more keepers, several more dinks, but the wind was much better.
I'm going to get me a BCM flag and fly it off my boat. So when any of you guys see the flag on the water, ya'll can come on up and say howdy.
Right you are. I'm blessed and the only good thing I'll say about myself is that I'm smart enough to know it. By the way, she beat me again today! I discovered this morning that my job is Equipment Operator. It means that I handle the net, motor, and loading and unloading, and she controls the fishing poles. Now she sits in the front seat, and I stand behind her with my net! Now, I don't have to worry about her beating me no more...I get partial credit for all the fish!Quote:

Trout, I'm hoping to get back out there tomorrow morning too. I'm hoping for a light rain with no lightening cause that mess will send me running for cover. What kind of school are you doing?
Thank you...for recognizing both the beauty of the fish and my good luck in finding a good looking woman with good heart who felt sorry enough for me to marry me! She was having a time holding that fish. When I handed it to her, I don't think she was expecting it to weigh as much as it did.Quote:

When you think you might head over this way again, give me a holler. I'll meet you out there if there's anyway to get away from my exam schedule. Don't worry, I'll just follow you around and ask questions while trying to mimic whatever it is that you do!
Unless...you go across the lake. Then I'll just have to sit and watch you ride off. My poor motor needs buried...no it needs more work than its worth. BUT my cheap butt is trying to get one more year out of it. One more one more.
Hey BCM -
Congrats buddy! Those are mughty good fish and I'm glad you're on a roll. Looks like the warmer weather might finally be turning 'em on. I can't wait to get down there myself. Miss Jennifer is a mighty good fishin' partner for ya. Son, you married up!
