    here it be.
    3 cups cormeal
    1/2 cup all purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon Black Pepper
    1/2 teaspoon red pepper
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup diced Jalapeno's
    1 medium onion diced
    3 Tablespoons jalapeno juice
    3 Tablespoons sugar
BEER to moisten but leave it pretty thick or it'll smash down flat when you spoon them in the grease
mix this up just before you cook your fish and fries so it can set up abit and rise. DO NOT stir it after it sits and rise
Get your grease to 375 and using a teaspoon, drop them in, flip when brown on the first side and their done.
If you don't like the beer, just use Milk. I like the beer though

Yeah, yesterday we pulled in a place and I got one pole out was getting another ready and a largemouth hit that one pole and almost took it out of the holder. I got him/her to the top of the water and satdoc went to net it. That fish jumped four feet out of the water and was GONE. Fun to have something that big on a jig pole. Me and satdoc figured it was about 6 to 7lber.

What you need is some professional lessons on fish handlin skilz there Torch. I have a 10 step program that I offer. Only takes 12 weeks to complete the course and if you sign up now, you get a set of lovely steak knives.

Max, I knew you were lawyering up, I meant what kind of law do you want to practice? Or are you going to go in house with a company or something. Hurry up and finish already, we need you to sue for public access to public waters on our behalf.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Sweet! I just copied, pasted, and emailed that to my hush-puppy maker (AKA, my wife!). I'll be sticking to the beer portion of the recipe. It's not that I like it. It just doesn't seem right to change with tradition.! Thank you kind Sir.

Ah ha. I see. YES! I'm not even out of school yet, and my caseload is starting to pile up! Financial security!

I will be doing mainly real estate work. Title searches, closings, etc. But considering my location is in Batesville, I suspect I will get to do some family law and probably guilty pleas too. We have a store up there now, and people are rushing me to get out and start lawyering. I guess I am fortunate for having my name "out there" albeit in a limit sense. I'll take my pluses where I can.

Wannabe, the game warden pulled up and checked us yesterday, I admit me and satdoc were fishing with dynamite again. He told us that was illegal and was going to write a ticket and take all of our stuff. Ole satdoc lit a stick a dynamite and tossed it to the nice game warden and said... "Are you going to write tickets or fish"

It's no limit, but it's way better than I've done in the past. And I caught several small fish, so I got to catch fish (CRAPPIE) off and on all day. I still caught my bass, but I only got 1 (that's ONE) drum!!! I call that progress!

Thanks again! My personal limit of one at a time is now dead!
where did you go max, when torch and i got back from point 10 we saw you on the east side of longbranch. a while later we saw you fire up and head out. we wound up not far from where we saw you leave from and that is where we got into them. we didnt load up till around 730, but never saw you again. glad you caught some but if you had stayed where we saw you leave from and fished about 2 ft deep you would've had more than 4.
