I got the same Motorguide TM with my Tracker as well....can't complain so far , about 2 years old now and still runs okay....did have something wrong with a switch and also had to take it to the service guy up in Memphis....luckily still under warranty, if this one breaks I will be switching to the Minn Kota brand....I would like to step up just a little from the current 46lbs.

    my 2 cents.....

I agree with Slab. MK rulz, MG drulz and as he suggested, GM is way superior to Ford, even with GM poised upon the financial edge of certain annihilation, impending doom and the prospect of Obama designing the next full sized truck.

Oh snap, I sure hope he doesn't "bail out" a trolling motor company next. Bout can't get a reliable one now as it is.

Guys, thanks a bunch for the feed back. Gonna look at a used 4 year old (hardly used) 55 lb foot cntl Mk tonite. Came out of a wrecked boat, and belongs to a buddy's friend here in town. Boat was totalled by a rear ender, and the TM was not hurt. He bought it back from the ins. co. and is parting it out. My boat mechanic friend and I will check it out real good, and if it's ok, I'll buy it. He's asking $175. Should be a fair price - yes?

Wannabe, my buddy told me how to fix those holes in my stockins. He suggesed that I turn them inside out. I did - and the holes were still there. I don't understand - he's usually so good about that stuff. Must be slippin in his old age.
