I think the Memphis River stage has to exceed 40 for it to threaten Lakeview. Right now the crest is at 37.5 on Sunday. When I say exceed 40 it might be 42,44, or even 45 I don't know anymore than that.

I was there yesterday and the river is not coming in. I was told it had to hit 40 ft. but who knows.

Caught 18 with only 6 being big enough to keep.

I tried mudd lake for a couple of hours myself and caught 1 yellow bass. Had some fish showing up on my depth finder but only 1 bite. Wind was pretty tuff though.

in the February 2008 edition of Mid South Hunting and Fishn news, on page 26 there is a Miss River watchbox that has river levels that will put the Miss into different lakes. According to that list it gets in Lakeview at 42 ft on the Memphis gauge

That's better than 40ft. I wanted to take a walk up the hill yesterday and look to see what I could see, but on the bank there at the end of the runout was a not so nice looking snake sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up.

Here are some pics from the other day. Like I had said I caught 18 but only deemed these 6 big enough to keep. I caught a lot of 7 and 8 inch fish.

    All of them.

The two biggest. These were the only females.
