    Default Crappie Masters tournament

Boy, did I get knocked down a notch on my crappie finding skills. We fished the Neely Henry tournament and got just short of skunked 48th/60. The winning stringer was just over 15 pounds for 7 fish. There was a hundredth of an ounce separating 2nd from 1st. Although, it was fun and also a learning experience. Gonna go nurse my wounds and fish Grenada this weekend. What's the water temps now? Maybe see some of you Grenada gurus down there. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two.

Hendren & Logan I believe. I know Capps & Coleman took fourth or fifth. Those guys stay in the money. Hendren & Logan also seem to be in the tops as well. I hope to be there with them someday. Hopefully sooner and not later. Tournament fishing can get real expensive when you are forking out all the money.

You keep at it Jeepster. It will all be worth it in the end when we're reading all of your "How To" tips when you're famous. Good luck.

Hey, Jeepster I always say you can't catch them with a dry line. In other words you got to get out there and get after them. We had a tournament several years ago on Tunica Cuttoff and had one fish at 1:30 I was panicing. Well all the sudden the bite started and we were culling fish in a ten minute time frame. Tournament fishing puts a lot of pressure on you.

Just stay after it. It took us five years to finally win one, then won another a week later. Now were back to the same old, same old. But man its fun!! CM is tough. The best compete in those week after week. We can make top twenty, just cant break into the top five. And remember, I'd rather be lucky than good any day. Its hard to beat luck! Some of the best get beat by luck every week.

Two buddys of mine caught fish over three pounds during the week prefishing. I heard that tournament day there where a few over three weighed in also. No results on the web site yet to confirm the later. Some folks that know say a Three pounder is uncommon in NH. They might be wrong now. HaHaHa,,,,,,,,,Don
