    Default Scoping poles

What brand do you use for verticle jigging? I have ACC crappie stix 12 and 13 ft, but looking for longer poles. I have heard of some 14, 15, and 16ft scoping poles. Looking for the most bang for my buck.

    Whats everybody using?

I don't have anything that fancy yet--currently, I use a 14' Crappie Thunder that I got from Academy a while back. If I need longer, I either try to pitch out, cast out, or use one of my spider rigging 16' BGJP, although you will generally have to net a fish on a BGJP because you can't really fling one in with a 16' one.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
Thanks crappiejim thanked you for this post

I’ve tried them all. Probably 10 or so from
$50 to $200. I’ve settled on a Dobyns 14. Have one and 2 in reserve. Want the 16 but was out of stock last I looked and $269 I think. The 14s I got on clearance for sub $100. Before this, my favorite and more price friendly was the ACC. 10’ is still my favorite rod to fish with but only applicable some of the year. Think I have 6 in various lengths 6-14’. Think the most expensive acc was $89. Go with the super grip.

Anybody else that pipes up with some other recommendation is wrong, can kick rocks, and I’ll whip em.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
