I have been to Grenada five times this summer and I have yet to catch a legal crappie. I still fish using double rig minnows. Two years ago it was not any trouble to catch fish and sometimes even a limit. As for short fish the five times I went I only caught one or two short fish. Some thing is happening to the lake. I think live scope and guides are the main reason for the decline in fish numbers. Yes, I have live scope and use it to see the depth of my minnow rigs. Last week I caught three drum two gars one white bass and one 10 inch crappie.
