A walleye rig or big CC is self defense around there. And man - if you do get caught out in a blow - NW wind, and a lot of current flowing… I’ve seen Sardis and Grenada rough. But never seen what it can do like Pickwick. Waves only 15 foot or so horizontal peak to peak - but 5-6 foot trough to crest. A small boat can get in trouble in a big way, in a hurry. I’ve been on it in too small a boat, and when you went off in a trough, couldn’t see land, just walls of water.
