Thanks guys . Been on here for 12 years (as a follower longer )Have enjoyed all the benefits of great fishermen who deal out a ton of knowledge on this site . The learning curve to catch fish while choosing my "style" has been greatly shortened to me by many on this site from Maine to Texas , California to South Carolina . Was not to long ago David ,"G", and I was a Endville grocery having a biscuit on my way to deer hunt . David, just his morning trip . We were discussing the site and comparing it to years gone by . I often came to camps, Crankfest, and cookouts but my motive was to fish . Often saw a few guys that I only saw a few times a year or once every five years . David shared to me it was not just about fishing or these folks would not share all the years of learning with people they do not know . It was about relationships, friends, people with a common interest ,fishing, serving as glue . Kind of hit home when I heard of his passing as well as others that are no longer on the site . All those times that a few more fish to have a limit was more important than sitting around cooking, eating , Sharing each others company . Every time I think of members like "g" , Knight shadow 10 , Mr. Goodtime, Blackhawk 19 , And others I could have known better it is a constant reminder of how short life is and how I/we can focus on the lesser values in life if not careful . I say all this in attempt to let you know I seek not for any thing but a opportunity to carry on the work of those that gave us this great site . May we all continue to be blessed , be kind to all, and have tight lines .Fish on .
