Had my first experience pushing cranks yesterday at Enid. Wound up with 17 solid keepers between 7:00-12:00pm. Special shout out to Rees Guide for his assistance with a starting point and technique pointers. It was fun texting back and forth with counts and color choices, he got really dialed in at one point and put the hurt on em, while we kept getting bit on several different colors, couldn't pick one that was better than the other, about the time we'd think about switching to a different color, a fish would hit. We should have tried the cranks at Grenada on Saturday instead of wasting the whole morning trying to get the fish we were marking to bite, kept thinking they would turn on but I guess they didn't want slow pushed minnows with the hot water. Thanks to Crappie Logic Donnie for his guidance Saturday, when we finally switched to pulling cranks, we wound up catching 3 solid fish over 15". All in all, a good trip for the dog days of summer!
