Eagle Lake
I have a trip planned for Eagle Lake 2/28 thru 3/3, Mississippi at Vicksburg forecast at 48' on 3/3, will I be able to use the levee to get in there I know 465 closes at 46.5', I have a place rented for those days and just trying to get a feel if I need to cancel or not and try to get a place at Roy's. Any advice will help, did anybody get in there last year when the water got over 465, I was there last year at the same dates but 465 hadn't closed yet.

There is a good chance you can get there via the levee. They have in the past closed the levee when the backwater got really high. Hopefully that won’t happen this year. They will make it public if they decide to close it down, it won’t just happen at the drop of a hat.
