Thread: 3 lb crappie caught at Arkabutla!

with as much fishing pressure as the lakes are getting now i dont see how a fish can grow to 3 pounds without being caught first.

All the 3lb were taken out by them darn Yankees

LOL, all of the big 4 can produce a 3# crappie. You just have to catch them. Happy hunting!

no no we dont eat 3lbers.we r used to 10 to 12 inchers..always darn yankees fault..we wish we had lakes like you guys.we cant fish creek channel edges they r 40 to 80 deep

I would rather eat an 11" or 12" crappie any day of the week over one bigger then 14 or so. Got to be over 12" here though. We all have our burdens to bare I reckon.

Yeah I'd rather eat 10" crappie anyday. But you got to find a pond around here to be able to eat the goods ones
