And what makes you the geologist all of a sudden?? I agree, these fish are in these rivers below the dam all year, just may have to hide in deep holes during lean water times. And I also agree they would in fact come upstream to look for all that bait coming thru the gate. Heck few times I snagged at the spillways I get more stankin' gizzard shad then anything, so bait is plentiful no doubt.
