I had the same issue about 3 weeks ago. Kept 10 and many throwbacks. Fished ALL day till dark. Coming Memorial Day weekend looks like it’s gonna be really warm.Is water still high? we put in at Teckville but the main parking lot was under water. Guess it still is not sure.

Three weeks ago the lake was around 273 feet. Today it's at 271.50 so it's only fallen 18 inches since you were there. They're dropping it about 1 1/2 inches a day and then we get a rain and it pushes it back up. At the rate they're draining, it's gonna take a long time to get her down to summer pool depth of 260 feet.

Here's a good COE website for water level info.

Yep and the fish will not have to emerge from the brush where you can’t get to them. The hatch will stay there as long as they have that cover in 8-12 and deeper and the fish will feed on the hatch of crappie and bass. The hatch should have a good survival rate.
