I've never fished any of them from the bank, I would think any time other than spring you probably will not do much from the bank unless the spillway gates are open and you can fish in the spillway. I've seen guys fishing from the dam at Sardis and catching fish, fishing from the dam is a good way to get to some deeper water without a boat I guess. There is a little ledge on the Dam at Sardis that I always see guys fishing from, its probably under water right now though.
