Can't tell you how many boats I've seen sunk at Holiday Lodge on Sardis. Still confusing to me why they can't add some strings of tires or other to break the waves at the ramp. I've never seen a lake get as rough as Sardis! This year you can actually get back in the coves and trees out of it, but then there's the issue of being able to get your boat in and out!

That's the only problem I have is loading the boat . I have extra rails welded just for that then I don't back the trailer to far back in the water . Only thing you have to hit it just right . Mite take a few tries to do it but it works .

I’d give anything to fish a day again with my dad fish or not. Heck I would be happy just to sit in the boat on the trailer for an afternoon. Should be some guides with open days or cancelations for you first day of you have the extra funds. Ross Barnett is near, too. It doesn’t get the press like the Corp lakes (not due to a lack of fish for sure) but the water level is stable and that can make a difference in during these monsoon spring flood seasons.

Best advice I could give ya, is to come on down and fish these lakes, these are the better times with the high water IMO. Clueless fishermen are abound, be it clueless local fishermen, guides or the overall well do ne'ers like me. Not a better time to be had on these lakes when these water is high by my account, come on down boys the water is fine!

I believe there will be a Big Momma Tourney tomorrow. I think it will be Magnolia Crappie Club. Maby you can check their results on their website tomorrow night.

I'm betting that not everyone in the money will have 7 fish, its a grind right now.

I would say you would be exactly right. I came down and prefished with a guy and tough doesn’t begin to describe it.

A friend had 9 keepers yesterday . All I can say right now .
