How is the campground on the lower lake below the dam? Above water or flooded?

1/4 oz weight with single jig can fish pretty shallow!!

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

It sure won't. But right now you got to put that jig deep in that cover for the thump. That buck brush is there heaven right now.

Just shows how much Sardis has changed. Those little one man boats used to be all over the place back in the day. Especially, Toby Tubby. I always wanted one but never could find anyone that made them. I'm talking the aluminum one's stick steer trolling motor on back and could go about anywhere. I guess most made their own.

Yes sir, old traditions are getting lost in the newer age. I still like to get in there shallow and to try to scull paddle in real quite. Get back in that brush and everything is real serene and no better sound in the world other then peace and nature.. just got to watch for them snakes in the trees when it starts a gittin' warm.

Yep, but the sound of that thud when ol snakey hits the floor of the boat is the sound hardest to forget.
